Hello Christian!
As per current policy (if I'm not mistaken), MREs for SRUs are now
handled by the ubuntu-sru team [1], not the technical board. I can
take a look at that tomorrow - could you draft an Ubuntu wiki page
with this information in the meantime?

Hello Erich!
Sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the release process so
far. The last thing I, and possibly all other release team members,
would want is for flavors and flavor leads to feel underrepresented
and ignored. With most releases (point-releases) I tend to always

Steve, could you update the UES calendar meeting and move all the

Dan, Rafael,
It is really unfortunate that this heated discussion has affected your
morale and faith in the DMB as a whole. I would consider it a huge
loss if any of you would have to step down from doing DMB work just
because of this, as I value all the work you have done during your DMB
cadence.
Same for me, sadly. Apologies.

As I am one of the people affected by the DMB expiry and also, similar
to Robie, a member of the Technical Board, I guess my opinion probably
isn't as valuable. But I personally do not think what Robie proposes
demonstrates any real conflict of interest. I

Hello Joshua!
Thank you for officially reaching out to us! I'm really happy that you

I've seen your engagement in the Cinnamon remix during recent
releases, so it's nice to see you want to join Ubuntu now fully,

Hey Steve,
From my side, I think what you're proposing is sane so I'd be +1 on

Hello Technical Board!
Would it be possible for us to perform the vote online, via the ML?
I'd appreciate TB members to participate here with questions or votes.
From my side, as I already worked on the flavor bits from the
release-team POV, I am +1 on Ubuntu Cinnamon joining the official
flavors.

Sadly, I will also be unable to attend today's TB meeting. It's the
week leading up to the release week + end of the cycle so I simply do
not have enough cycles to participate. But please feel free to reach
out to me in case my attention is needed.

Putting my very few cents into this discussion, however my general

Hello Erich!

Hello Ubuntu Studio!
At today's Technical Board meeting we have voted for the LTS status of
Ubuntu Studio for 24.04, and the vote has passed! So now it's all

Hey Simon!
Your LTS requalification application checks out so I'm fine with

Even though I would also like to see a better-defined set of packages
that the flavor is willing to support throughout the LTS, I do feel
like the Kubuntu team does continuously demonstrate that they're able
to provide support for all of its core components throughout previous
