tic(8) is currently growing some changes.
The big one is the ability to write to a directory/file database rather
than a singular database. The general idea is to use the singular
database for the base system and the directory/file database for pkgsrc.

MKCRYPTO=no is currently broken because nobody maintains or tests it,
and it does not remove all cryptography from the system anyway.
Rather than fix it, I would like to remove nominal support for the
MKCRYPTO option altogether.
Originally, MKCRYPTO was introduced because the United States
classi
