First i want to thank everyone for allte pointers. None of which helpde fix
the overscan issue. I decided to bitevthe bullet and do the in pace upgrade
to 12.04 lts. This actually made the screen fit and i gotthe enu bar on the
top of the panel. I did have to install gnome but now xbmc will not sta
xvidtune did not work.

TV. Myth has a setting where you can adjust how large of a display it thinks
it has. ATI video cards have an adjustment option on them as well (if you run
the proprietary ATI video driver).
