I was taking a look at custom components in myFaces
(http://myfaces.apache.org/components/jscookmenu.html)
and I culd see very nice examples of componets that culd be ported to tapestry.
One of them is a Menu base in http://www.cs.ucla.edu/~heng/JSCookMenu.
