Hi
It appears that i might be getting the E5 Nokia phone.
I dont want to go for a high end touch screen phone, because of the
technological changes that are about to take place within the next year or two
in the Nokia phone seen.
Can anyone on the list tell me what the pros & cons are for the N

maybe you should know, E5 is not a touch screen phone, it is just a qwerty
keyboard phone.

Hi. The E5 is a good phone. You do know, though, that it only has the qwerty
keyboard, and no touch screen? If you want touch as well, you'd be better off
with the E7 or up-coming E6.
Excellent battery life though, and I love the keyboard'. Can you return it if
you don't get on with such small
hi fi,
i agreed with you. i just fortunate enough to touch the E6 2 hours ago, it is a
great phone to upgrade from E5, E71 or E72 to a
touch + qwerty keyboard phone. the E6 has all the fizical keys as like the E72
and with the capacitive touch screen on top.
but still have no chance to test dri

I was reading about the E6 on line last night and it sounds good but
it is the symbian Anna system. I don't know what that is exactly so I
don't know if talks will work on it. I don't know if that's another
name for the ^3 or if that's one of the new combined symbian/windows
systems that nokia
hi i'm not Stephen, try to answer to your question.
symbian anna is a new version of symbian^3 but nokia does not call symbian with
numbering anymore, thus symbian anna is a new
version of s^3 which is pr2.0. s^3 release with pr1.0, pr1.1 and pr1.2, pr2.0
is called symbian anna.
HTH.

Thanks for that. I think then it's a matter of whether talks will
work with it or not. It sounds like a pretty big upgrade from 3 .

hi,
in my personal opinion, talks 5.20 should work on symbian anna, but of course
with some limitation, e.g. may not work on the new
Portrait qwerty keyboard, the new adjustable widget size at the homescreen, and
the new web browser.

Stephen, yes my experience with it would indicate that it only has one
speaker.

hi,
no, the C5 has stereo speaker, try to play a song and turn the phone to the
back facing you, listen carefully, it is indeed stereo
speaker. quite difficult to listen because the speakers is too close from one
to another.

I wouldn't know about that, I've only ever used one in an office environment
when installing talks.

Hi folks,
I am using the free weather program from the blindsea.com website. Does
anyone have any dictionary files, icon libraries, or modifications they've
made to the program for share? If not, does anyone know of a more
accessible program?
Thanks,
Mal
hi! i'm using mobile weather as well and here it's completely accessible
with talks 5.2. i can do everything with it such as add and remove new
cities, view the weather and conditions for the selected city, sunrise, etc..
so just curious, why would you need a dictionary for it?
thanks and best regard
You just need to go into the Object viewer and setup each of the roles to
how you want things spoken in the detail view for the Mobile Weather
program.
