This question is ok to ask.
So are you wanting to change the voice that is used when you press soft key2 to
hear who is calling?
Or are you wanting to change the voice that speaks the name of the person while
the phone is still ringing?
If you are talking about the 2nd option, then the answer i
the second option.
this phone uses the ellen voice and I prefer the Marten voice.
Thanks

You can try installing the voice that you want, then go into the speech
program and change it to use the voice you want. However no gerentee it will
work. The speech menu pick is whare you would change the voice that is used
to read messages with the MSG Reader.

Hi Steven
Thanks for the help, but I can change the voice in speech to marten, but
when someone calls,
the Ellen still speaks.
Another thing I find is that the help on the phone does not read with talks.
Is there something I can do?

No there is nothing you can do about the HELP! It doesn't work on Symbian
9.3 phones with Talks which the E72 is one.
Like I said, I didn't think you could change the announcement for the name
of the person calling while the phone is still ringing. Glad you confirmed
that was the case

Is the built-in Internet radio application of the N86 usable with the latest
version of Talks? If not, what is the best option for a 3rd party Internet
radio ap for the Nokia N86?
Thanks.

Hi Stephen,
Can't you disable the speaking of the caller name from the calling

Yes the internet Radio program can be used with Talks with version 5.01.1 a
little. A lot of information is repeateble and hard to use, but you can cut
some of the information out that repeets using the object viewer. There are
some screen that do not read like when selecting a access point, typ
This is done from within the Profiles and you need to turn off the SayName
function. But this isn't what was being asked Pranav. Myself, I have it
turned off being I find it just as easy to press SoftKey2 while the phone is
ringing to hear who is calling.

go to offline, probably using another program like a profile program, it
will not shut it down and turn it back on but instead go offline and then go
online or general or whatever profile.

Hi
I can disable the phone voice announcing the caller's name in the profiles,
but I prefer it because if talks announce the caller's name, it stops the
ringing sound.
The only problem I have with the Ellen voice is that it is not as clear as
the Marten voice and her pronunciation is different.
OK, thanks for the information.

Does anyone know of a nokia dual sim phone that works with Talks? I
saw a couple- the C1 and C2, but they're series 40 phones. I couldn't
find any that said they were series 60 phones.
