I have switched off the NOVI key but how do you select the text entry area
online?
Interestingly as I reflect on what you say Bernard. There were issues with E72
and Talks when E72 first cane out. Then the last Talks resolved these issues
back in March this year. Hopefully the next release will take care once again.

You can go to the following web site to find out more information about a

Hi bernard and all:
The only difference after updating is that talks can read in the missed
calls, the name and the number, that is the only difference.
Nothing else.

Hi, I just obtained a nokia 5800 Xpress and I'm trying to install the demo
of talks. The date is correct and I was able to connect the Xpress to nokia
PC suite. When I start the install however, I'm told to continue the install
on the phone. I then press soft key one and I can feel it vibrate so I

Are you certain the date is correct? The reason I say this is if you got a
overseas model of the 5800 express music and a sighted person entered the
date like they do for the US version! Then it is incorrect. Example: if they

Hi again,
I notice that everyone has been talking about updating the firmware on
their phones. I am using the E71 and would like to know what new features
or bug fixes there are for my phone. Can someone tell me where to source
this information, or if they have the same phone, tell me what
Hi there,
Can someone please explain what Walking Hotspot is, and how it works? I
think I know, but I want to be sure. Please also provide a link to download

This is the reason why I am extremely reluckton to update firmware if phone is
working wonderfully. I am still using V10 on my N79. I never see any
difference with my friends who are using V30 in their phone. Furthermore,
upgraded to latest will always have some trouble with Talks. Especiall
Bernard,
When you performing such important operation, try not to use to many USB hub or
connection. In fact, for me, I will usually remove all other USB cables
connected and only leave the one for the phone running and connected.

Hi again
Talks may not speak your symbol list after you update. I say may because I
don't know what other phones apart from e72 and e52 and I think n97 are
effected. on the plus side of this update there does not seem to be much
difference.

As it works on my laptop I will use that. My desktop has 10 built in usb
ports so they would be on a built in hub.
My IBM think pad has only 2 usb ports unless I use the expander. As I
updated 2 phones yesterday using the laptop with no problems I will use the
laptop. I will ask the desktop
Now that I have updated and the symbol list is not spoken can I go back? or
would Nuance be quick enough to help us? What do we do?

I'm curious. Where did you see this recommendation from Nuance, and was it
specific to Talks? I know you've had to update certain levels of firmware on
some phones to fix some specific issues, but I don't recall ever seeing a
blanket recommendation from Nuance to always update to the latest level o
I've asked myself the same question. You can still access symbols like . ,
