Are you saying that when you activate that feature in the Talks settings it
doesn't do anything (Talks --> Advanced tab --> Mute on
keylock --> Yes)?

after thinking about the issue of muting talks when the keypad is locked
I checked talks settings and noticed that mute on keypad locked was set
to no so I set it to yes and the problem was easily resolved. Thanks.

know about your particular phone but if I lock my N86 when mute is not
set to "yes" when I put my phone in my pocket talks keeps saying "press
unlock to activate keypad" over and over again which is quite
