As often, this thread became a place for all kind of railway
discussions. We currently do distinguish the tracks:
railway=rail
railway=subway
railway=tram
railway=light_rail
but we do not distinguish all kinds of stops:
railway=station
railway=tram_stop
railway=halt
what about tagging those stati
Yesterday I GPS-surveyed some public footpaths, one of which went
through a crop (sugarbeet, I think). The surface was harder to walk
on than dirt or grass, with lots of lumps (beet); the farmer had only
marginally complied with the law:
