I'm new to the SWORD project.
A friend and I are interested in using SWORD via its python SWIG api, but
I'm having some issues.
I've got a recent version from CVS and built/installed it with the python
bindings. H

Thanks, Yes I've seen the todo items. Autorun unfortunately is a
non-feature on Mac OS X. I'm working on a solution that means the cd
starts with an open window with a background picture and the mac files
clearly visible.

installable module. Now I want to test it.
Do I have to overwrite what's in /usr/share/sword, or is there
a way of making GnomeSword find my own module somewhere else?

I have followed /usr/share/doc/libsword4/README.Debian's
instructions to download modules from ftp://ftp.crosswire.org.
But it fails miserably... nothing downloads with Synaptic.
Yet if I go directly there with a FTP client, all packages are there.
Ideas anyone?
