I'm in on this project, I have an intel and a ppc mac both running

The page has "License:GNU General Public License v3" but as has been
discussed some time ago, v3 is against the Sword licence because GPL v2
and v3 are not compatible.
Otherwise, go

Hi Josh.
To be honest I'm not sure.
I didn't see any code processing images.
I think no, it does not.

I strongly agree with the wiki idea. I use one for coordinating the
development at work, and it is a very big help.
The main thing to do with a wiki is to remind people that it's there,
and to take or transfer their notes into it.
We've also managed to move some of our CRM into it, to help k

Dear Manfred and other interested Mac development,
CrossWire exists to facilitate community development of free software.
Any services we offer are very much available for your work. Specific

Hi Manfred,
I understand your thoughts on the subject. I didn't knew about all
problems (I only knew about some of them) and I didn't want to sound
critical about the way you and Will have been conducting the
development.
I agree with you that the app should have a new look&feel too. And

Manfred,
I'd like to suggest that we use a more Mac friendly location for
modules than ~/.sword. The Mac way seems to be to put resources under
~/Library/Application Support. I'd like to suggest having the module
directory be there and called Sword. Currently this is where

Hi Jónatas.
The problem with MacSword is that it is not so easy to add new
features and enhance the application.
I've spend many many hours over the last one and a half years to
cleanup the code. Actually a lot under the hood has been done and
some bugs have been fixed.

Hi.
Thanks for your replies.
First of all, we need a place to talk, a mailing list where we do not
disturb other sword discussions.
As it is a new development there are lots of issues and things that
need to be discussed before any coding or GUI designing is done.
Then we need a repository an

Hi Manfred,
I'm very pleased to hear that something new is being started for the
Mac. I hope you can reunite a good workgroup. I doubt I can help
building the app because I'm not a programmer. But I can certainly
help with testing.
I've used MacSword for 3 years now and I'd love to see it
I'm a programmer, I know Cocoa decently well, and was thinking of
doing something similar myself. I'm strapped for time, but I'd love
to help in any way I can given that constraint.
