Thanks for your comments, Steve and Martin. I contacted the current maintainer of CEDICT (he has taken over the project in 2000 after the old author disappeared -- probably the guy you contacted, Steve). His comment was "This sounds like the kind of project CEDICT was created for." So no copyright

Hello, first of all -- I discovered the Sword Project a few days ago, and I am very impressed by the huge amount of modules available. Praise God! I am working on creating dictionaries for the Sword Project, using the CEDICT project (a freely available Chinese dictionary; I already contacted the
