Hi Joachim.
OpenOffice uses some Java libraries for the xhtml converter. So I
think it can be automated but I haven't looked into that.
Jens is also working on the NeÜ so I'm not sure if it makes sense that
I work further on that actually.
What do you suggest?

Manfred,
I used the free, separate files. I worked well for the first version because I
just saved all zips using wget and autmatically unzipped and converted them.
The conversion word->xhtml is now not totally automatic any more, I guess.
Thanks for working on that!

Did you download the complete text? But they are not for free, you
have to pay.
The separate book downloads are free.
That's what I did now.
I'm that far that I can pull out all verses of the xhtml converted
material.
No Footnotes or anything else so far.

I've been using the aqua ports of OOo for over a year now. They
gradually got better and about 2.2 they were good enough to replace
X11 version for most

There's the OOo 3.0 Beta for Mac with its Aqua interface. Fairly stable

Hi Joachim.
I just had a quick look. I opened the text on OpenOffice and exported
to LaTeX and xhtml which both look promissing to do further
conversion. Probably xhtml is better because it is valid XML.
Versenumbers are marked in both xhtml and LaTeX (kind of marked here
at least). The on
Hi Manfred,
I'm the "maintainer" ... Sadly I just don't find / have the time to do
updatees to all the modules I once made.
Thank you for your offer to help!
I had a solution which converted to docbook using antiword. Then I converted
the docbook into osis. Which kind of worked.
Problem is, ant
Hi.
Who is the maintainer/creator of GerNEU?
I would like to help update the module to latest revision of the texts.

Manfred
