I have followed /usr/share/doc/libsword4/README.Debian's
instructions to download modules from ftp://ftp.crosswire.org.
But it fails miserably... nothing downloads with Synaptic.
Yet if I go directly there with a FTP client, all packages are there.
Ideas anyone?

Are there any up-to-date versions of sword available for Debian? I've been
jumping through too many hoops trying to build from 1.5.5 or CVS on my Debian
system. (I can build normally, but not as a .deb)

Hey there,
Are there any up-to-date Sword and GnomeSword packages available for
Debian? The official Debian packages are pretty out-of-date even in
testing/unstable, and I can't get Sword to build using dpkg-buildpackage
(ref my previous post).
Thanks
