[sword-devel] cmake python bindings user location

2013-06-16 Thread cricketc
Hey Greg, I'm building the python bindings with cmake 2.6.4. I'm trying to specify a user location, but it doesn't work with current svn - SWORD_PYTHON_INSTALL_DIR is always just "OFF", even if I pass a value through the cmake command. If I pass "1" as the value, then SWORD_PYTHON_INSTALL_DIR gets

OK, thanks for the feedback Ben. I guess if it's not causing problems for any front-ends, there's no point in breaking existing code. -Ben On Thu, Dec 13, 2012 at 9:31 PM, Ben Morgan wrote: > G'day Ben, > > From the viewpoint of a frontend developer, I don't really want this change > committed.

[sword-devel] filter patch

2012-12-13 Thread cricketc
Hello, I came across the following output in various filters: . A comment in the code talks about this being a silent html comment that the front-ends can replace if desired. However, that tag is not valid (x)html (I guess it used to be a valid comment). I'm attaching a patch that replaces with

[sword-devel] sword-api bug 139

2012-12-02 Thread cricketc
It looks to me like Bug 139 against the Sword API can be closed - the curl types.h include has been removed. Is there anything else that needs to be done on that bug? If no one has anything else on that bug, should I sign up for an account and close it? Or just let someone else close the bug? Not

[sword-devel] cmake sword.conf

2012-11-14 Thread cricketc
Hello, I'm building sword with cmake, and I noticed that it doesn't look like sword.conf gets installed. Is anyone planning to add that support to cmake? I'm not actually sure if that file is used much, but maybe it would be good for cmake to do the same thing as configure... Thanks, -Ben __

[sword-devel] Empty cross-references

2010-04-16 Thread cricketc
I'm trying to view cross-references in diatheke, but it doesn't seem to work properly (with any output format I try). In BibleTime, the cross-references display fine. Should I look for a bug in the Sword filter(s)? Or am I just missing something here? Thanks, Benjie $ diatheke -b ESV -o s -f T

[sword-devel] Python swig bindings

2008-12-13 Thread cricketc
For building the Python swig bindings, I ran ./autogen.sh, ./configure, make pythonswig, and make python_make, basically as it says in bindings/swig/README. However, in that README, it says to use make python_swig, instead of pythonswig, which works. The docs should be consistent with the makefile

[sword-devel] osis search problem

2007-10-21 Thread cricketc
Hey, I think there's a bug in searching OSIS Bibles, and it goes back to a thread I started in January. At that point, I was asking about the diatheke output for , but that question affects the searching as well (I'm not concerned about output format right now). If I search for "cause against" in

Hmmm, I may be missing something obvious, but I don't seem to have xml2mod on my system. I looked in the Sword code, too, and I didn't see it there. I see xml2gbs, and that's the only one going from xml. Would osis2mod work for thml? Thanks for your help, Benjie On Wed, May 09, 2007 at 08:20:56PM

[sword-devel] Gill, Keil & Delitzsch commentaries?

2007-04-16 Thread cricketc
Has anyone worked on getting Gill's Exposition of the Whole Bible or the Keil & Delitzsch commentaries in a Sword module? Is the text available anywhere? If it is, I'm happy to work on converting it into modules, but I couldn't find the text anywhere. Also, is there an easy way to see what beta mo
