Hi,
while update the freebsd port of sword to 1.5.7 (finally) I encountered
a problem with curl includes; compilation would error out complaining
that it couldn't find the curl headers, which are in
/usr/local/include/curl. Would the following change make sense? It fixes
the problem for me.

Hello,
I've been trying to get sword-1.5.7 to compile on FreeBSD, but I just
can't get it done. When compiling installmgr.cpp, it says:
In file included from /usr/include/sys/stat.h:50,
from ../include/filemgr.h:25,
from ../src/mgr/installmgr.cpp:16:

Hmm, too bad. Thanks for answering though :)
But ... is it very hard to keep binary compatibility (between major
versions - now and then api changes are really needed) ? If more
applications start using sword, it will get more annoying and finally
maybe unacceptable when upgrades break many progra
Hello,
I upgraded sword from 1.5.3 to 1.5.5. Then I tried to run gnomesword,
dynamically with the 1.5.3 library. It fails with this error:
/usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Undefined symbol
"_9LocaleMgr$systemLocaleMgr" referenced from COPY relocation in
gnomesword

Hi,
I have tried to compile installmgr for X11 too, but it couldn't find the
VCL library. And I haven't been able to build it, the Makefile in
apps/X11/VCL just starts building in sword's root. Has anyone ever
built libVCL on linux/unix?

Hello,
first: thanks for this great project! I'm primarily using FreeBSD, so I
created FreeBSD 'ports' (http://www.freebsd.org/ports/) of sword,
sword-modules and cheatah. It's a bit like an rpm or deb, but in this case
for FreeBSD. I thought you might like to hear this.
