Thank you Greg, much appreciated.
I usually use ims2vs, imp2ld and mod2zmod and a previous time, one of these
gave me errors. I then used the utilities that are distributes with Xiphos
and they worked correctly, in fact, I am still using those.

Those interested in checking out the utilities (they're not the latest
and people interested in module creation should get the latest from
the trunk of SVN), they can be found at:

Any 32-bit binaries will run on 64-bit Windows, so just base the

Good morning,
I plan to get a new laptop with Windows 8. I use some of the utilities for
module building, will a 64 bit version of Windows work with the utilities, or

Having heard no complaints in a week more than I intended it to take
(technical difficulties ranging from forgetting my SVN username to
strange behavior of the 'tar' command) I have cut release 1.7.4 of the

Hi David,
A good source of information is the book written by Daniel LORTSCH « Histoire
de la Bible en France »,
available on-line here :

I found information about the first Bible printed with verse divisions by

The Bible de Genève download is 581MB, so must be all scanned images of the
pages.
Not directly usable for module making, but useful for research at least.

Br Cyrille,
Xiphos 4.0 will support alternate versification and will display the
deuterocanonical books.
It's release is now imminent, according to Karl.

Given a researcher with ample time to devote to the task, it should be
feasible to construct a French canon.h file that would cover a significant
proportion of the variations in v11n.
It would require a lot of diligent detailed comparisons for French Bibles.
IMHO, it would be better to have too
