PS: I have a git-svn clone of the SVN, and changing the repository URL
from https to http just doesn't work out of the box. I'
You don't need https for svn unless you connect with a password.

When will the crosswire.org HTTPS certificate be replaced? It expired on
January 1, 2011 and has given warnings to SVN clients trying to checkout
Sword ever since.
