The KJV and NRSV versification scheme's are the only ones that work just for the New Testament, every thing works well except for Rom 14:24-26. So what needs to be done to v11n in order to display Rom 14:24-26 instead of appending them to verse 23? just having someone add it to the engine will w

Troy, There are a variety of versification schemes which can be specified when you import the module. Based on your selection, the tool will append extra verses to the "nearest" verse (I use the term 'nearest' in a sort of nebulous undefined way, since it varies based on where you are in the impo

Hello, I'm working with the Majority Text in the EMTV New Testament fixing all the various error's and adding topical verse titles and notes. Romans 14:24-26 is included in the MT but not in the KJV and when running osis2mod verses 24-26 are appended to verse 23. I've read the wiki but it does

Thanks Chris, I recall reading somewhere that you viewed xlit as more appropriate than gloss as the XML attribute to mark Ruby. Yet the fact remains that the existing Japanese beta modules use the latter. I suppose they could all be remade after an attribute search and replace in the OSIS source

Good point, David. I was thinking only of Diatheke's ability to transform the xlit attribute to a rendering format (because it will use updated OSISHTML(HREF)). I wasn't thinking of the ability to toggle Ruby (via OSISRuby), which still requires handling in Diatheke. --Chris On 10/30/10 5:08

Peter, Agreed, yet how many pastors, theology students or Biblical scholars even know about regexp? And if the submitted paper had been edited in [say] MS Word, the author would first have to copy the content to a file format that was capable of being processed by sed, Perl or similar. And then
