This remains a contentious issue clearly. I do not expect anyone to like
my design choices - though some seem to do so.
The color scheme and overall design are another thing that were not

I have re-released the Lcdbible item after the matters of concern which
Chris highlighted were rectified or are in the process of getting
rectified by Lynn.
I have also released a news item on bpBible's release of a the 0.4
release as portaple app on the 19th December.

A good rule for all top links is that they should be short and sweet.
Lengthy descriptions do not work well and are a turn off.

Peter,
It would have been nice to have had a news item in September 2008, that
CrossWire was adopting Go Bible, and to combine this with a "call for
volunteers". While you are working on the site in general, is it too late
to ask for this?
News items don't all have to be of the kind, "Such and

re 1 line vs 2 line menu bar.
I have been given some grief regarding my choice of a single menu bar.
I think I have an acceptable solution - the real problem is to have
narrow screens and shallow screens (wide screens or even worse netbooks)
equally well accommodated.
