There's no regression. Most of these issues have never been features.

Yes, I agree that the ESV is the best English Bible we have.
BTW, the ESV has WoC as well.
The differences between the 2001 and the 2007 editions are detailed at:

I created the current version we have. I was unaware of the update.
I'd be happy to do the conversion. We just need to secure the data and
permission from Crossway.
My personal opinion, this is the best English module we have to offer.
The KJV is more feature complete (strong's, morph, WoC)
Has anyone started on making a module of the 2007 ESV update?

I submitted a patch to fix the divineName problem - hasn't been applied yet.
It isn't a problem with the module.
Can someone tell me why the description of the FreJND module is French John
Nelson Darby (1975)?
Why the 1975? I don't see this mentioned anywhere. In the about it has 1859.
God Bless,
Practically all modules currently in beta have been tested on following
frontends
MacSword, BibleCS, GnomeSword, Sword Webtool and BibleDesktop
Hopefully the testing was thoroughly enough to find all significant
problems.
36 modules are marked as ready to move into the main repository or need

I am experimenting with the just-released 1.5.11 Windows UI. It seems
to have problems with some modules with images.
- GnomeSword (manual module) displays no images, but there are
scrollbars that reflect image scrollability.
- BAO inconsistently shows black boxes in place of an image.

No, but I would probably understand (so-so) it if it was read to me. I
probably also could make sense if it was latin transliterated.
There is though a problem with PDFs - I know of no way of scraping a non
ASCII PDF. usually "copy" turns up garbage.

Need to check if this is based on the 1878 edition published by BFBS, as
