I've updated the build script to split lessons sets into parts based on
a max number of words in a lesson set.
It seems most phones can handle about 200 words so this is what the max
is defined at currently. I hope for us to update it further to have an
additional dimension, phone capacity, wh
Andrew,
We would be very interested in any contributions you might have.
Currently, I'm not sure if we have anyone who will admit to owning the
swig bindings. There are a few projects who use them, and we get
contributions now and again, but it would be really nice if someone who

Thanks, that got me started thinking in the right direction. There's one
detail I neglected to mention: I'm doing this on Mac OS X.
Here's what ended up working for me:
cd bindings/swig/package
vim autogen.sh
Here I edit the file so that cp does not use the -a option, which isn't
valid in the B
Thanks for the update, Chris ... that's very helpful.

I had to install libtool and swig before this.
cd bindings/swig/package
./autogen.sh
./configure

make install
At least that did it for me (after several tries :). The build system looks
kind of broken to me, though.

I was interested in attempting to build the SWIG bindings for Sword in order
to use the Sword API in conjunction with a Perl project I'm working on.
However, I'm having some trouble figuring out how to build them. They don't
build with the regular ./configure as far as I can tell and

I don't think it's exactly a bug, but one could argue that Sword's
parsing should handle the three 1-chapter books (Obadiah, Philemon,
Jude) as special cases in
I'm running into a problem programmatically parsing cross references in
a new module
I have references of the form:
Obad 2
That is a single chapter book with just a verse reference.
When using Sword C++ api to parse this I get:
Jonah 1:1 - Jonah 1:17
(I'm using svn/trunk/sword/tests/parsekey.cpp

I wonder if the web forums should merely be shut down. They're really
