Just for the heck of asking, has anybody ported Sword to DOS?
I'm building it under FreeDOS/DJGPP, and it goes along pretty
well (finally) until it hangs up on some networking stuff that
of course DOS doesn't have (in the same way as unix) and I'm
pretty sure is not inherently necessary to readin

I believe that work is well under way to get an updated version of the
win32 binary out. I am not certain who is working on it, but if
you search back in the archives of this site a few months ago, there
was a good-sized discussion revolving around the new installer.
