Good day,
One example of versification that you might look at is used by Paratext.
Please check with Nathan Miles for the correct details. I am not a
Biblical scholar so I may have misunderstood the explanation. As I
understand it, this program uses the versification assigned to the

Sure, if we wanted to set up multiple static versifications. But I
think we should aim for something more flexible.

The original system (from before I was around, but I could see vestiges
of it when I joined) did essentially what you suggest, from a
versification perspective. Each version defined its own versification,
held in .cps and .bks files. (That's what those are for, if any of you
have noticed the.
Hi Mark and Tim :)
I've been playing with it a little recently to start adding a config
dialog and make the UI more maintainable (by using QT Designer for QT2)
though I haven't posted anything anywhere until now. This is mostly
because the build for the Ipaq is broken and there are a few things I'd
Mark,
I think there is some work going on, although it appears at a fairly low
level. I have a "soon" hobby goal of doing some work on it - but since I
have not done much programming in C and have done none in Linux or for
Qtopia, I'm not hopeful of being able to contribute much.

Is anyone working on an update to qpsword?

Fellow sword-devils,
IMHO, we are not taking advantage of several of the collaborative tools that
TSP's P-T-B have made available for our use. One that comes to mind is
"twiki". For whatever reason, it seems to have fallen out of use. That's a
shame, as it has the potential to really add to TSP's

I'm not that familiar with the Apocryphal books, but aren't all of them at

I've uploaded a prototype of LcdBible that uses the "experimental"
CanonVersifier class. This class and a cut-down RawVerse are the only
sword-api classes needed for a "plug-in subset" that can access verses from
./modules/texts/rawtext. The specifics can be looked at:

I've made some progress putting together a 1st cut prototype of the LcdBible
front-end (Lowest Common Denominator) project. Feedback appreciated.
An nsis install package is available at:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/lcdbible/LcdBibleSetup.exe
For now, the 400kb download includes the LcdBible
I think the osis tag is and yes, it SHOULD work (*should* being
the operative word) There is a test dictionary around somewhere with
image samples.
e.g.
and myimage.jpg should be in the module datapath directory (specified in
the .conf file for the module).

PS. Welcome Eric!

I am new to the list so this could be a very
obvious question. I have searched the mailing list and read the OSIS spec but
could not find any information on the topic of graphic.
Is it possible to have maps and/or other graphic
types encoded as part of a book?
Thanks in advanc
