Hi Derek,
2. Is there a version of sword (and a UI) that is known to run on the iPAQ
running Linux?
I haven't used an iPAQ, but I am using qpsword on my Zaurus, and there
is an iPAQ package as well... see http://www.crosswire.org/qpsword/ .
If you are using the micros GUI instead of Qtopia, try

New BibleTime is based on KDE3, which is not officially in any Debian

I have a rhetorical question, if a user was to desire to read Jesus' words
in green rather than black or red, should it be allowed and should we
accommodate it?
I know it is a dumb question.

Hey Chris,
it wasn't my intention to start a flame war :)
We just remove the red color, but no text. The red color was added later by
the translators but it's no in the original ancient texts. Just like
footnotes. Or am I wrong here?
It's the users choice if he likes Jesus' words in red or blac
I forgot to mention that you have to add
GlobalOptionsFilter=GBFRedLetterWords
to the config to enable the filter.

List of questions, I've been too lazy to look hard for, feel free to slap
me with a rtfm or give me a url to the answer.
1. Are the sword, gnome-sword and bibletime packages for Debian actively
maintained? I had been making some custom one's because they appeared so
stale in unstable.

This constitutes altering text presentation. Whenever possible, we do not
do this or allow this because it is not our right to choose presentation
of books that we did not author.
Maybe announcing the KJV2003 project as project of the month on the
Crosswire.org front page will attract more people.
I think it's time for a new Feature of the month thing :)
