As a better solution, instead of having a config file
adjusted, why not, during the installation, let the
user decide which modules he/she wants to be selected
and/or installed...then the user has full control

I just wanted to report I have successfully compiled both Sword and Bibletime on my Mandrake 9 box this morning. Thanks for the tips and patient help. It appears my problems were related to not having the latest Sword CVS.

Geoffrey. I just updated the options.conf file on the CD to fix this.
You can grab it from the 'latest' directory.
Also fixed the tract startup. Thanks for reporting the problem. It
seems I fixed it for netscape, but not ie. It should work for both now.
