Will the ability to turn off cross references (in ISV) be included?

sword-icu has a later date on it, and has a tools menu that sword_dct
doesn't and an Options | Transliteration menu too

Hi Dave,
All of them should have the same contrast, since they are based on the same
background (from BibleTime, of course), but perhaps #4 was adversly effected
by PNG's compression mechanism. I could always adjust that though...

#4 and #2 have my votes, except it seems almost like #4 has more contrast in the
background than the other top ones, which is undesirable IMO, more washed out is
better because that would be less distracting, doesn't even need to be readable IMO.

I like either Style #1 or #2, but can't decide... I think the first may be
a bit better because pushing the "The" off to the side makes it seem more
organized... I dunno, I guess it goes back to whenever I see a site that
has EVERYTHING center justified, I coil back in disgust...

I like #4.

Just to make sure, sword-dct.zip on the alpha page is up to date? Also,
about the splash screen. Will there be a way for others to override it with
their own
Hi everyone,
David Trotz asked me awhile back to work on a splash screen for the
upcoming Win32 release of The Sword Project. I have made five different
splash screens (each with slight differences), which you can see at
http://www.uninetsolutions.com/tbutler/misc/sword.html .

Jerry,
I believe the interface is not going to change anymore before our next
release so you can feel free to start working updating the help files. I
believe the release date is gonna be within the next two weeks. The only
thing hat will change is the splash screen which Timothy is working on now

When you get what you want to release let me have it so I can update the
help files.

I want to discuss our release roadmap for the next one or two versions
of Sword & BibleCS and what should be included in those releases.
I think we should go ahead an do a 1.5.3 release of both Sword & BibleCS
this week or next. I think these should include only the functionality
currently in CV
I tried to run the sword-icu.exe from alpha and had the following message,
"A required .dll file, ICUDT19.DLL, was not found."

If you look at the development roadmap in the TODO file, there is a
point at which I intend to write a custom Bible-viewer widget for FLTK.
I intend to do this so that
Forgot to mention the location. It's in the alpha directory of the
alpha site (as usual), but the file is named sword-icu.zip. You will
also need the file icudt19.zip, which contains the ICU data DLL that you
need to extract to your Sword directory. If you got the latest

David Trotz and I have got some new stuff built into Sword. David's
stuff is pretty stable, mine is sometimes crashy. :)
David has started work on autosaving layouts. Maybe we should also
autosave GlobalOptionsFilters settings also, if that's easy to add.
He also add
I agree, this is really, really cool. :) Feel like working on the WinCE
port? ;)
I think we've had some suggestions before that we use a similar type of
index-based compression. The ZIP/LZSS block compression we use now
works really well, I believe, and gets module sizes down to the same
range

Wow, I've never heard of the 'Agenda'! I thought I was up on current

website! Thank you very much for all of your work, and I'm anxious to
see your inverted index storage mechanism!
