Good call. I had forgotten ATK could output UHJ stereo; I had never actually
tried that decoder. I always liked listening to Nimbus CDs in stereo because
the stereo seemed more lifelike. I know they used the Halliday mic array,
rather than a conventional Ambisonic mic. I will try the ATK toolkit fo
I use a Tascam DR-680; the early version has rather noisy phantom power; I had
to modify my DR-680 to kill the noise as picked up by certain mics. I believe
the DR-680-2 may be better but I haven't tried one.
