Surely for 3rd order that is
(3+1)² = 16 speakers?
This is what has been confusing me as I see reports of third order over 8
speakers which seems to go against the rules.

installations in Melbourne Australia. These include the a immigration Museum,
the Melbourne Museum (several exhibitions/rooms), the Eureka Stokade a museum.
These all run many channels of audio - one uses more than 20 channel
Yes all the Melbourne museums pieces I mentioned of my own and those Ross
mentioned are all permanent soundscapes, not just tech installs. The tech must
serve a purpose, right?
