I have an old Oktava MK-012 4D. I got it on eBay about two years ago, but from
the serial number I think it's about 15 years old.
The sound quality is very smooth, we'll suited to classical music. But..., and
there is a 'but'..., the sound localization is not good; it is hard to identify

Actually...after re-reading, it does not come with capsules, so add at least
another $400 on top of that...:-(
But you do get the choice between many polar patterns, that can be
interchanged, interesting...

Very economical, and Oktava has been making microphones for a
