Installing Sea Monkey 2.53.6

I have completed installing 2.53.6 (from 2.49.5) but I keep getting request to install every time I open Sea Monkey. Docs tells me it is already installed. I completed useragent string reset, but I'm still getting the notice. PLZ help! Vivian R
