You can change or set new environment variables for a process when
submitting a START request to the STAF PROCESS service using ENV
option(s). These effect just this process.

Hi -
Is there a way to get STAF to reload environment variables in Linux, sourced by
/etc/profile or something similar, without having to restart STAF on the
system? When STAF starts it seems to pick up env vars, but ones added
subsequently I don't know how to get into the STAF env.

No. When STAFProc is started it is running with the environment variables
that were set at that time. The environment in which STAFProc is running
cannot be changed without shutting down and restarting STAFProc.
