It would be helpful if the patch from PR253251[1] could be merged into the
releng/13.2 branch as well.
Today I ran freebsd-update on an affected machine. This machine is headless.
It is inconvenient to have to attach a local display and keyboard when I forget
to build a new kernel before

13.3 has the patch and has been out for a month already.
