If you want to provide an IVR, all you need is an IVR server.
Kamailio is not an application but a piece of infrastructure. It would be more
useful in a scenario such as load-balancing calls across a large group of IVR
servers.
Think of it as a router.

A VIR server can be a Voip Server? Can be a SIP trunk and Call Manager?I am new
here.Thank your patience.And I install a kamailio,and it works :) So I want to
combine it with IVR.If an IVR server can do everything.I will just install a
IVR server.That's ok.

How would Kamailio assist you with this? Kamailio itself is not an IVR
platform. Why not just route your calls straight into an IVR server?

Any IVR application server can be used with Kamailio as long as it uses SIP as
a signalling technology, since Kamailio is a SIP proxy.
As for "how", you're asking the question backwards: why do you want to use an
IVR engine with Kamailio? How would using Kamailio aid the delivery of an IVR

Hello,
Is there an API that can notify Kamailio of media inactivity in the RTPProxy?
The documentation has something called "timeout_socket" . I don't understand
how to use it though. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
the BYE must have a different To-tag than the other answered branch and
the caller device should not close the connected call/branch.
Look at the To-tags in the two branches and see if they are different.

I was testing a scenario whith parallel forking (multiple registers) where 2
endpoints answer near simultaniously. When phone that was just a bit slower
hangs up, the BYE gets forwarded to the caller and thus the connection is
terminated. This is as far as I know for stateful transactions (t_rel

according to that documentation, inserting a document uses

is this really supported? or should be added to the module?

Hello,
the exported functions are wrapper around the MongoDB C API, so the
commands should work like described in the API, see:
http://api.mongodb.org/c/current/index.html
