Just to add some context, the above change is in OpenSSL. It would be great if
you can also try with an unmodified OpenSSL with tls_thread_mode = 2. We had no
reports of issues after the introduction of this parameter with OpenSSL 3.x,

I tried 0-3 but it blocks in all cases... I also played with
