@miconda It causes `Substitution Error`. I search for that error and I found
that the cause is that `sh` links to `dash` in Debian Stretch. I change the
`/bin/sh` to `/bin/bash` and error resolved.

So the module compiles in centos 7 but not in centos 6, due to incompatible
libevent library, right?
If yes, then we can close this issue. If someone makes a PR to add support for
it, then it can be reconsidered, but from my point of view, this is low
priority to be considered as effort from de

Can you change the commit messages to have only the content relevant for the
changes? If not, we can apply manually the patches and write new commit

Right now the first line is rather useless with "fix reported defect".
