Hi, you can use the rebased patch for Squid4 that I have attached to the bug
4526. It works also against 5.1 and 5.2 and I am currently running 5.2 with it
and I have not seen any issues yet.

issues. I didnt integrate it as url rewrite helper but as external acl helper
