Hello everyone!
Is there any way to display, in my custom error pages, the acl that denied

Ok Rejaine. Remember to use squidclient to see the amount of real-time used
file descriptors:
# squidclient -h localhost -p 8080 mgr:info | grep "file descriptors"

Hello Rejaine. First of all, are you Brazilian? It's always good to have
Brazilians around here. :D
About your issue, squid.conf's "max_filedescriptors" parameter will solve
your problem. Due to the large number of hits that I have, I also had to
increase the number of squid's file descriptors.

Hi everyone.
Squid version 3.5.19.
I need to set up a load balancing. It would be something like, 3 servers
decentralizing the accesses. I already have that solution.
But when I decentralize the cache directories, my "HIT rates" decrease.
I'd like to know if there is any way to have more than o
Ok. Tell me what technical details you need and I post here.
But if this were an ignoring cache-control issue, wouldn't that happen on
squid 3.5.19 and previous versions as well?
With the same conf works on 3.5.19 but not in newest squid3 versions.

As I said before, is a more larger problem. not just Youtube. If rewrite is
necessary, doesn't work the cache. I tried with Youtube, Facebook, Vimeo,
etc.
Anyway I will try these links that you suggested and put here the results.
It work very well until Squid 3.5.19. Not in newest versions.

I have the same issue. And not just Youtube, but any dynamic content cache.
If you need to rewrite doesn't work.

Hello everyone.
Answering Linda's questions:
- Yes, I tried to use the hsc helper in versions above 3.5.19. But I did not
succeed.
- There are no specific features in the versions above 3.5.19 that I need to
use. But, for security reasons, I'd rather use the newer versions.

Hi Yuri.
The reason I came here is because I've already tried but I didn't succeed. I
really expected a more specific answer. Not just "You can fix it yourself,
the code is open."
Anyway, thanks. I'll Keep trying to fix this.

I have been using this helper for a while. It works very well.
Congratulations!
But I noticed that after squid 3.5.19, this helper doesn't work anymore. Is
this a known problem? Is there any way to fix this?
Best regards.

Sorry if this is already answered here. But I couldn't find any clear tips
about this topic.

Hi everyone!
I have a Squid 3.5.19 with dynamic content cache using url rewrite. It's a
virtual machine (VMWare) with 2 quad-core processors each. Squid proccess is
100% in one of my eight cores and the access it's getting very slow.
There exists any way to compile squid with multithread option?

SOLVED!
I've isolated the cache and created another instance for users to use.
Deleted swap.state (made a backup before) and restarted the squid service.
It took a long time to rebuild the cache, but it worked.
Thank you all for your help.

Solved! I changed the rsyslog template option ("sql" to "stdsql"). With the
sql option, rsyslog replaces single quotes with a \ before it. With the
stdsql option, rsyslog replaces one single quote with two single quotes.
This configuration solved my problem.

Good morning everyone.
I'm using Squid 3.5.19 with cache enabled.
