[spyder] Spyder does not import/load Numba

Hi, A script cannot import Numba when executed from Spyder in Run file (F5) mode. So far this is the only instance *import *fails on Spyder -- stuff such as Numpy, Scipy and mpmath are imported fine. I get the following error messages: Traceback (most recent call last): File C:\Program Fil

Spyder 5.5.0 takes a bit less than 1 minute to fully load (interface + kernel) here, but this a memory problem rather than Spyder's I'm afraid. This notebook came with only 8 GB RAM. Will be upgrading soon to 40 GB. Hopefully loading times will improve. Fausto On Friday 22 December 2023 at 14:
