Hi Frediano. Thank you for the reply. Yes it's good to have a way to
distinguish the 2 cases. This is the log when I change the laptop's network
from lan to wifi. Can we distinguish the case from the log? Or could I submit a
feature request to distinguish the two cases?

I have installed virt-viewer 9.0 on a Windows laptop and use it to connect to
virtual machines in a remote Proxmox VE server. I noticed when I unplugging the
laptop from docking station (where it is connected through a network cable),

Hi all,
I am trying to run Remote Viewer inside Windows XP while using UsbDk for
redirection, However when installing the latest version of Virt-Viewer on
XP and try to run Remote Viewer some Dlls seem to be missing.

Hi all,
I am using remote-viewer for connecting to a vm with spice protocol.
If I do not use audio or usb for a lomg time on the vm, channels seems
closed and I canjot hear audio anymore until I close and reconnect to vm.
Any workaround ?

Yeah, it's really a problem, but you'd better think carefully if it's
necessary or not to verify twice .

Hi,Uril:
I had built spice-gtk with ―enable-usb-redir is success.
And it works well on windows xp and windows 7 (both X86).
The error at last built is because of libusb, the libusb
I built is some error. I got the libsubx from git, the latest

This does not work because auth is expected to signal different error, for
example

Current remote viewer only ask for a password when connecting to a spice session
which requires auth:
from virt-viewer-session-spice.c:
case SPICE_CHANNEL_ERROR_AUTH:
DEBUG_LOG("main channel: auth failure (wrong password?)");
int ret = virt_viewer_auth_collect_credentials(self

Hello spice developers,
I'd like to be able to configure various features/options/parameters
of remote-viewer.
Can someone possibly tell me if the following options can be realized/set
with remote-viewer at present, or, if not, whether they may be considered
for a future version:

Hello Christophe,
Hello Dave,
@Christophe, thanks for the tip with strace; I got it working.
I used "./configure --prefix=/usr/local/spice", and remote-viewer was "looking"
for files in "/usr/local/share" that were in "/usr/local/spice/share".

Hello,
I'm trying my luck again at compiling virt-viewer/remote-viewer for

Hi all,
I recently tried the new version of remote-viewer (0.5.3 and GIT
versions) which has the nice feature of localized menus.
However, when I try some key combination as "ctrl-alt-del", which in
my french localized menu is "ctrl-alt-suppr", nothing happens.
