Maybe you can try Fedora 16. I made it worked.

I installed the ovirt-engine 3.1 on a fedora 17 and used de beta repo. I
have 2 ovirt-nodes 3.0.
The datacenter is up.
When i want to open a desktop vm, i don't get a activex popup and the
console will not open,
