Hi,
I checked the latest version on spice 0.26-2, the problem i mentioned
doesn't persist in the latest release. Its only part of Ubuntu "Trusty"
repository i believe, since spice package is in debian format and patches
are maintained separately in /debian/patches/*.
I shall report this to Ubuntu

I verified with latest version 0.12.5, problem doesn't persist.
Probably only with the Ubuntu repository. I am yet to report to Ubuntu,
will do it shortly.
