Hi,
I getting an error when trying to use usb_redir:
reds_show_new_channel: channel 9:0, connected successfully, over Non Secure link
qemu-kvm: usbredirparser info: Peer version: spice-gtk 0.7.39-ab64

All channels are in the same port or, optionaly, some (or all) channels can
be used in a SSL port.
You will run spice with one or two ports, considering "no ssl" and "ssl"
port.

Hi Danishka,
Take a look here: http://www.ucs.br/projetos/osdvt/index.php/Home
We have some experience using VMs with Spice/KVM at school labs.

Hello,
The Open Source Desktop Virtualization Technology aims to provide a
complete solution to deliver Virtual Desktops running in a standalone
server over KVM to be accessed using the SPICE protocol.

Desktop Virtualization Technology
This release have some improvements and is the last step before we
leave standalone model, after migration to libvirt.

I found 2 issues running libvirt 0.8.6 with spice:
The first is about a not supported Spice parameter in qemu command:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=664190
The second is about a missing capability in "qemu -help":

For spice 0.6, you need to change your qemu command: add “-device
virtio-serial -device spicevmc” and remove “-usbdevice tablet”.

Hi,
I'm working on a Open Source Project (not published yet) with SPICE.
Now, I have a python server to control the VM's and a PyGtk client to
access the VMs using SPICE. The server capabilities are limited for
while. If you would like to try, mail me.

Pahim

This problem was observed in Gnome and XFCE.
The environment with Fedora 13 and spice 0.4 works fine.
Is this a known issue? There is any workaround?
Thanks.
