I found 2 issues running libvirt 0.8.6 with spice:
The first is about a not supported Spice parameter in qemu command:

For spice 0.6, you need to change your qemu command: add “-device
virtio-serial -device spicevmc” and remove “-usbdevice tablet”.

The environment with Fedora 13 and spice 0.4 works fine.
