I finally got tired of log4cpp and replaced it with ~20 lines of code.

I've been trying to get the latest git sources to compile and i've been
getting the same issue on both platforms:
g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I../.. -DSW_CANVAS_CACHE -DSW_CANVAS_NO_CHUNKS
-DUSE_GLZ -D__STDC_LIMIT_MACROS -I. -I.. -I../../common -I../../common/linux
-I../../client -I/usr/loc

can you please tell me how to create spicec (spice client) as a static binary
(on x86)..?
i try to build it on an ubuntu 10 platform.
any help would be very appreciated,
