Hi, I see that spamc/spamd supports storing the user prefs in MySQL. I'm not using spamd, but rather 'spamassassin' called on a per user basis from procmail. For conveneince I'd like to store the per user whitelists in MySQL. I'm thinking of modifying spamassasin to do this. But I'm wondering if

How closely tied are the rule sets to the different versions of SA that they were released with? ie - can I take the rules from latest release (say from 2.43) and plug them in to my 2.11 installation ? Are there plans to abstract the rule set from the software version, so this is possible in the

Does the aquisition of Deersoft by NAI mean that the key developers can no longer contribute code to the open source project? Will they be allowed to work on the open source code in work hours or will they just work on the proprietary code? Does their employment at NAI restrict them from coding in
