I see that spamc/spamd supports storing the user prefs in MySQL.
I'm not using spamd, but rather 'spamassassin' called on a per user basis
from procmail. For conveneince I'd like to store the per user whitelists
in MySQL. I'm thinking of modifying spamassasin to do this. But I'm
wondering if
I'm using spamd with a mysql user preferences system
with postfix. Per user preferences are keyed by username,
so mail to username@ works fine (ie: spamd looks up the prefs for
said username). However we also give users email addresses
of the form firstname.lastname@ and even though the postfix al

There is a PHP module for SA in the Horde/IMP webmail package, which
allows users to control their SA settings from within Webmail.

How closely tied are the rule sets to the different versions of SA that
they were released with?
ie - can I take the rules from latest release (say from 2.43) and plug
them in to my 2.11 installation ?
