I'm running SpamAssassin 2.60 on Linux Mandrake using the MILTER Option for Sendmail. It's working fantastic, with the exception of tracking SPAM for a SPAM Trap. Any suggestions? - The following addresses had permanent fatal errors - "| /usr/bin/spamassassin -r -w somewhere -l /sysadm

Hi, As I use News Groups I lay myself open to spam email harvesters. I've read that a neat way of thwarting them is to put on the sig line the address of an email account expressly set up to lure spammers to send to the account, when it can then be fed into the Bayes filter and reported to Razor.

Is it possible to set up a spamtrap with the combination of spamc/spamd. I have set up a few mailboxes that I have that get nothing but spam to get mail piped into "spamassassin -r". However for my legitimate users I already have a copy of spamd running. Is there any way I can utilize this faster
