I noticed
that if I try to feed SA-LEARN a mailbox full of SPAM, it now “craps
out” claiming “segmentation fault.”
Anyone have any ideas?

if you're getting a segfault, there's either a problem with perl, perl
modules, or the librarie

how many mails is full?
i just fed sa-learn a Maildir with over a thosand messages and it was fine...
