[SAtalk] Multiple Local.cf files

2003-06-07 Thread Damian Mendoza
Hi, I manage a couple of SA site servers at multiple locations. Is it possible to have a second local.cf file? The primary local.cf is used by the local users at each site. Any ideas? Thanks, Damian --- This SF.net email is sponsored by:

[SAtalk] spam message being delivered

2003-06-01 Thread Damian Mendoza
Hi, I found a couple of messages that had a score of 5.8 - "5" being my default SPAM level. They were delivered to the end-user, however they should have been quarantined. Using SA 2.52 and MailScanner 4.12-2 Any ideas? Thanks, Damian --

Brad, I block about 80% of the spam from five k-12 school districts - 35% of their mail is SPAM - approx 1350 messages per day for each district is SPAM. I'm using the default score of "5" with no local.cf file at this time. Regards, Damian -Original Message- From: Brad Reichert [mail

[SAtalk] local.cf syntax

2002-10-24 Thread Damian Mendoza
Hi, I want to block all messages with VIAGRA, FREE, SEX, PORN, etc in the subject of a message. I would set the score to a very high value. How would I define the syntax in the local.cf file? Would the score also be in the local.cf file? Thanks, Damian Mendoza Workgroup Solutions

We're seeing the same type of messages being received with SA in school districts. Not much fun explaining why we can't block these messages. Hate to spend $50,000 for a commercial pacakge that claims to block images. Regards, Damian -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:
