We have a Startech Unidock2u
(http://www.startech.com/HDD/Docking/USB-to-SATA-IDE-Hard-Drive-Docking-Station-for-25in-or-35in-HDD~UNIDOCK2U)
that we have tested using parted magic 2013-05-01 and smartmontools
successfully. No special flags needed.
