Hi Loris,
I was installing slurm-19.05.0. The problem got resolved after I
uninstalled and reinstalled again. So I am unsure of what was the issue as
it works fine now.
Thanks for taking the time to help me.

Hello,
Is there a way to preempt jobs by using the priority of a job calculate with
priority_multifactor and not with a priority related to partition or qos ?
I tried using PreemptType=preempt/partition_prio in slurm.conf but it doesn't
work and I haven't seen this type of use case in the doc
To extend this question:
is it possible, that slurm listens on two interfaces, e.g. on eth and
via IP over fabric?
Best
